A two-minute silence will be held at the Cenotaph on Saturday (June 9) to mark the 30th anniversary of the Falklands conflict.

Organised by the Committee of the Royal British Legion Pelsall Branch, the short service will include the laying of poppy crosses. Crosses will also be for sale, by donation, for anyone who also wishes to lay one at the Cenotaph.
The Committee will be at the Cenotaph from 10.30am for the sale of crosses and the 2 minutes silence will be at 11am.
If anyone wishes to join the branch, they can so on the day and pay by direct debit, just bring along your bank details to fill in the form, at a cost of £12 per year. Cash payers are also welcome.
The next branch meeting is tomorrow (Thursday, June 7) at 7.30pm at Pelsall Labour Club.
