The Royal British Legion Pelsall Branch will be holding a collection to raise funds for the branch and also to recruit new members tomorrow (Saturday).
The event coincides with Armed Forces Day and poppy merchandise is available to buy on the day, by donation.
Membership of the British Legion costs £12 per year. Anyone joining now will receive 15 months for the price of 12. People aged 12-17 can join for £2.50 per year. You can pay by cash or cheque.
Members can get involved with their own fundraising either towards the branch or for the Poppy Appeal, but the committee will be holding ‘family friendly’ events over the next year, too.
