Pelsall carnival committee is hoping that crowds will come and support the carnival tomorrow, despite the mixed weather forecasts.
The carnival will go ahead – whatever the weather – we have been assured.
Here is the event timetable:
7am – car boot sale opens to exhibitors
10am – craft show opens to exhibitors
noon – trade and craft show opens
12.30pm – assembly of flats (no later than 1pm)
12.45pm – fancy dress and Jons’s fair opens
1pm – crowning of the Carnival Queen Kathryn Cox, her maids of honour Antonia Dodsworth and Jess Watts and rosebuds, as well as princesses and rosebuds: Eve Gollins, Tianna Beech and Megan Hayes. Opening ceremony in Arena 1
1.45pm – procession through the village.
Entertainment in Arena 1 includes: Dako Flying Angels Gymnastics team, Cannock Chase Drum Corps and Jo Leigh School of Dance.
In Arena 2 you can see Birches Valley Gymnastics team and Zumba fitness display.
