Pelsall Hall is opening its doors to celebrate the publication of a book about the history of this former grand home.
Local historian Annita Bates has written a book entitled “The Charles Family and Pelsall Hall”, which portrays life though the years and shows a fascinating insight into Victorian life when Pelsall Hall was family owned.
The Victorian themed book launch takes place at the Hall in Paradise Lane, which is now a care home, on Saturday, November 10 at 3pm.
Residents, families and the community are invited to visit the Hall for the launch of Annita’s new book, and to view an exhibition of photos of old Pelsall and Pelsall Hall.
Also on show will be some textile artwork and poetry that the residents have been working on with the Creative Arts Development Team based at Walsall Council.
I’d love to go to this but I doubt I’ll be around. Any information on getting hold of a copy of the book would be much appreciated. Web searches and Amazon turn up nothing as yet, not even for pre-order.
I’m trying to get hold of Annita for book details etc. As soon as I do, I’ll upload the information.
