There is still time to register to take part in the charity fundraiser in Pelsall this weekend.
The It’s a Knockout event takes place on Pelsall Common from 10.30am on Saturday, October 27 and has been organised by Walsall Area Partnership to support Walsall Hospice and The Royal British Legion. Funding has also been provided by Taylor Wimpey, Cameron Homes and Cory Environmental
Teams of a minimum of five people can register to take part. All entrants must be over 16 years of age, the entrance fee is £20 per team.
The council’s sports development team will also be there, providing plenty of fun activities for younger children to enjoy. NHS Health Checks for all ages will also be available on the day.
Chairman of Brownhills/Pelsall/Shelfield/Rushall Area Partnership, Coun Gary Perry, said: “This will be a fantastic occasion for the whole community to enjoy.
“We wanted to create an event which engages people of all ages in a fun and positive way. Our It’s a Knockout tournament will give people an experience they won’t forget in a hurry and one which I’m sure will encourage them to come back and enjoy the show in the years ahead.”
