Pupils at St Michael’s School raised more than £300 for Children in Need after turning their school into a multi-screen cinema.
To support the charity, youngsters at the Maple Road school donated money to take part in a fun-filled afternoon, which included spending times with their friends, watching their favourite films and enjoying popcorn.
The afternoon which was organised by staff member Mrs Lisa McDermott and the
School Council raised £328.
“Contributing to the local and wider community is very important to us as a school”
said Mrs McDermott “and the School Council are thrilled that the fundraising event
went so well.”
