A charity fundraising ‘It’s a Knockout’ style event held in Pelsall has raised more than £1800 for charity.
The event, which was organised by Brownhills, Pelsall, Rushall & Shelfield Area Partnership, was held in October and all of the funds raised went to St Giles Walsall Hospice and The Royal British Legion. Funding was provided by Taylor Wimpey, Cameron Homes and Cory Environmental.
Chairman of Brownhills, Pelsall, Shelfield & Rushall Area Partnership, Councillor Gary Perry, said: “The event was a fantastic success and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.”
Cheques for the event were handed over to St Giles Walsall Hospice and The Royal British Legion on Monday 26 November.
