Dear Sir/Madam my name is Stevie i am 12 years old and I would like to suggest building at local skatepark in Pelsall with nearest one being in Bloxwich and in walsall wood there are a lot of kids in pelsall that ride a scooter/bmx/skateboard. There is a lack of places for kids to go in pelsall if there was a skatepark the was better than the nearest local one’s it will attract more tourism with people coming to ride the skatepark. A skatepark would also reduce the amount of vandalism in pelsall with kids having somewhere to go.

THanks for writing in, Stevie. You should contact Councillors Marco Longhi and Garry Perry to see if they could help with this.

  4. Garry Perry says:

    Hi Stevie
This has been an ambition of young people for some time. Funding will be an obvious issue however with the right support for the project and motivation from young people and the community we can achieve this. It would be helpful if you and your friends could agree to meet with me and my colleagues to pursue this further. We would need to agree location and then look at funding streams and design.
