Wood Estate buses
Negotiations continue in seeking the reinstatement of a bus service through the Wood estate, Pelsall. There are a number of options being explored which include the potential re-routing of the 346 operated by Thandi, and the re-commencement of the 908 bus with the predominant use of a single decker . We will continue to campaign for an acceptable solution that will re-connect the residents of this area with an available service.
High Street repairs
Work has been carried out to repair the very worst of damage caused to the road surface following the extreme winter earlier this year. The re-surfacing of sections of the High St is a temporary measure with full re-surfacing of the High Street following the completion of the new medical centre late next year/early 2012.
