Carnival committee organises Santa visit

Santa is visiting Pelsall today (Friday) and Saturday after the Carnival Committee arranged for the Big Man with the white beard to say hello to the youngsters.

He will be in a decorated float on Friday in Heath End, starting at the Red Cow in Allens Lane at about 6.30pm and visiting the estates along Goscote Road – Trent Road, Valleyside and Windrush Close – before going around Maple Road and moving across Wolverhampton Road to Millers Walk. Santa will also be travelling to the Social Club at the Fingerpost, Old House At Home, The Railway and Old Bush pubs.

On Saturday Santa will be in the village at 3.30pm before setting off to Stackhouse Drive and the Ryders Hayes estate at about 6pm. He will also be visiting Moat Farm estate.

Although there is no set route, Santa is expected to travel in his sleigh until about 9pm.

Neil Cross, of the Pelsall Carnival Committee, said: “We look forward to the Christmas Santa sleigh ride around Pelsall each year and thank everyone for their continued support.”
