Meat theft from Spar

Police have have released of a man wanted for questioning in relation to two thefts at the Spar store in the village High Street.

On both occasions the man stole a quantity of meat.

The first incident took place on Thursday, 14 April, at approximately 8.10pm and then four days later on Mondays 18 April, at 4.20pm.

The man is described as white, approximately 5ft 10” in his early twenties, slim build, with short dark hair. He was wearing a light green sweatshirt type top and dark blue jeans, with dark shoes.

PC Andrew Pemberton, from the Pelsall neighbourhood team, said: “We have had recent successes with identifying people through these type of appeals and would urge anyone who may be able to identify the man to come forward.”
