Police appeal after indecent exposure in Pelsall

Police are investigating reports of indecent exposure in Pelsall and neighbouring Brownhills.

The first incident took place on Monday, June 27 at 1.40pm, on grassland by Ryders Hayes Pool, off Ryders Hayes Lane in Pelsall.

Two women were approached by a naked man who indecently exposed himself.

He is described as a white man aged late 50s-early 60s with a full head of white hair. He is said to be very tanned and has a beer belly. He is about 5’ 10”.

Acting Sgt James Drake from Aldridge Police station said patrols have been stepped up to reassure residents.

A second incident happened at about 10.30pm on Wednesday, June 29, on Chester Road North, Brownhills.

Three 14-year-old girls were walking between the Rising Sun Pub Island and the Hussey Arms Pub on the A5, near to an area described as the Black Path.

They were approached by a white man, described as in his 30s with dark hair and wearing a top with writing on it. He indecently exposed himself to the three girls and they ran off.

A/Sgt Drake said although the incidents are not being linked, they were appealing for anyone who may recognise the descriptions of these men.

“We believe there may be other victims in the areas who for whatever reason may not have reported any sightings,” he said. “We would urge those people to come forward so we can catch the two men responsible for these distressing incidents.”

Anyone with information should call Walsall Police on 0345 113 5000 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
