A free barbecue and sports activities are being held at Ryders Hayes Park in Pelsall next week.
All teenagers and residents in the area are invited to go along to the event on Friday, August 19, from 6-8pm.
Organised by Walsall Council’s Integrated Young People’s Support Service (IYPSS) and supported by Brownhills, Pelsall, Rushall and Shelfield Area Partnership, it aims to engage local residents and encourage them to build positive relationships with young people in the area.
Mayor of Walsall and Pelsall councillor Garry Perry, will also be at the event to speak to youngsters and offer any advice and support.
There will also be an inflatable football pitch, arts and crafts and other activities on offer.
Among those also expected to be on hand to offer advice are West Midlands Police, West Midlands Fire Service, Walsall Council’s Integrated Young People’s Support Service (IYPSS), Walsall Council’s Green Spaces Team, Neighbourhood Watch and the substance misuse service T3.
