St Michael’s School fair success

St Michael’s CE School Christmas Fair that took place last Friday raised £3,000.

Arthur Roberts, vice chair of the PTFA, which organised the event at the school in Maple Road, thanked parents and members of the community for supporting the fair.

“Thanks also go to all the local businesses who donated so generously,” he said.
“And especially Father Christmas for attending. He has contacted us to say he is safely back at the North Pole and is ready for Christmas Day.”

The money raised from the fair has not yet been allocated to a project.
