British Legion awareness day on Saturday

Members of the newly-formed Royal British Legion Pelsall Branch are holding an awareness day this Saturday to encourage villagers to join up.

The branch was officially formed earlier this year and is led by Karen Clifft.
Karen and other committee members will be in Pelsall on Saturday, April 21, between 10am and 1pm, where people can see their plans for the next year.

They will also be selling poppy products, including the sought after metal poppy pin badge and wristbands, as well as St George’s day products.

People wishing to become members of the branch can sign up on the day; it costs £12 for adults per year and just £2.50 a year for children aged 12-16.
