Pelsall celebrates the Jubilee

More Pelsall Jubilee celebrations – thanks to Andy Venables and Vickie Heydon-Matterface for their photographs.

Residents of Windrush Close also held a street party. Kris Binks said: “The theme and dress code for the day was of course, red white and blue and the Close was fittingly decorated with bunting and balloons!

“The mini Queen & King for the day opened the party making way for games for the children such as three-legged race and egg & spoon, bouncy castle, a play that the children had worked really hard rehearsing and our very own adults ‘windrush’s got talent’.

“We tried our very hardest to raise money to give something back to the community too with a tombola stall containing donated goods from neighbours and also local shops in Pelsall (who have been brilliant with donations), the money raised from this will go to a local playgroup.

“We also sold balloons and released them in aid of Goscote Hospice who have donated the balloons with the proceeds raised going to the hospice, too.”
