More teams needed for Knockout event

More teams are needed to take part in charity It’s a Knockout fundraiser in Pelsall.

Teams can apply to be a part of the inaugural showcase, which will be themed on popular 1980s TV gameshow.

Taking place on Pelsall Common, Saturday, 27 October, the event is being organised by Walsall Area Partnership to support Walsall Hospice and The Royal British Legion.

Funding has also been provided by Taylor Wimpey, Cameron Homes and Cory Environmental.

Teams of up to five people can register to take part. All entrants must be over 16 years of age, the entrance fee is £20 per team.

Chairman of Brownhills/Pelsall/Shelfield/Rushall Area Partnership, Councillor Gary Perry, said: “This will be a fantastic occasion for the whole community to enjoy.

“We wanted to create an event which engages people of all ages in a fun and positive way. Out It’s a Knockout tournament will give people an experience they won’t forget in a hurry and one which I’m sure will encourage them to come back and enjoy the show in the years ahead.”

NHS Health Checks for all ages will also be available on the day.
