Pelsall Carnival Committee donates to good causes

Fourteen local charities and good causes have received cash donations from Pelsall Carnival Committee.

The carnival took place on July 7 and £1800 worth of profits have been divided between the following organisations:

£200 – Midland Air Ambulance.

£150 – Friends of Bryntisilio; Ryders Hayes School; 425 Squadron Welfare Fund (ATC); Army Cadet Force, A Company.

£125 – Acorns; Pelsall Evangelical Church’s Mothers and Toddlers group; 3rd Pelsall Scout Group; Walsall Sea Cadets (TS Vanguard).

£100 – Pelsall Kidney Machine and Research Fund; Walsall  Animal Care; Pelsall Village School; Pelsall Over 60s Club; Pelsall Physically Handicapped Association.

Carnival 2013 will take place on Saturday, July 6. The Pelsall Carnival Queen competition will take place on Sunday, April 28 at Pelsall Community Centre, Station Road. (Entry forms will be uploaded in a few weeks.)
