Moving date for Pelsall Library

Pelsall Library and children’s centre are to move to their new home at the £4 million Pelsall Village Centre next month, it has been announced.

GPs moved into the first floor of the centre in December. Now the children’s centre staff and the library are earmarked to move into the premises in High Street on Tuesday, March 19.

The old library, based at the former neighbourhood offices in Norton Road, will close at 4pm Saturday, March 2. Sue Grainger, head of Libraries, Heritage and Arts at Walsall Council, said lenders will be able to take additional items over the closed period.
