Pub regulars’ 100-mile walk for hospice

Three men are embarking on a 100+ mile walk from Rhyl to Pelsall to raise money for St Giles Walsall Hospice.

Joseph Ufton, aged 75, from Mossley Estate, Bloxwich, Dennis Smith, aged 58, and Keiran Maxwell, aged 21, both from Blakenall, began their marathon effort yesterday (July 22) and will arrive at The Railway Pub, Victoria Road, on July 27 when it holds its beer festival and fun day.

The family members are related to Maggie, who works behind the bar and in the kitchen at The Railway, and are undertaking the walk as part of the pub’s regular fundraising events for the hospice.
