Service of thanksgiving for Nelson Mandela

A service of thanksgiving for Nelson Mandela is being held at Pelsall Methodist Church on Saturday.

The service will be led by Rev Molly Chitokwindo at the Chapel Street church on Saturday, December 14 at 2pm.  It will last for one and a half hours.

“Everyone is welcome to this service of celebration and thanksgiving for the life of Nelson Mandela,” said Rev Molly.

Anyone is welcome to take an active part in the service, whether you are South African, can sing or dance or otherwise, she added.

Throughout his life, Mandela had many connections with the Methodist church. His mother was Methodist and he attended a Methodist school.
